Cosmetics Ukraine 2018 International Conference

On May 29–31, 2018, the Cosmetics Ukraine 2018 international conference took place, which is held annually under the sponsorship of the Association of Perfumery and Cosmetics of Ukraine, headed by a charming woman Victoria Filatova. The Conference serves as a platform for business cooperation in the production of cosmetic products in the new geopolitical circumstances, and for ensuring a qualitatively new format of industry interaction within the Eastern Partnership project. The conference was attended by Christopher Flower, Director-General of the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Perfumery Association (CTPA), the UK, who told about the nuances of technical regulation in the EU, Catherine Apolinario and Stephane Pirnay from France, who determined the substances of special attention and assessed the permanency of cosmetics. Also, within three days, various issues were raised at the sessions: legal, technical, and marketing. The speakers were top managers of Foxtrot, Swiss Organic Solutions, Promvit, Clariant Consulting AG, Courage + Khazaka electronic GmbH, researchers, and others. One of the speakers was a partner of our company Aleksandr Vovk with a report on the features and basic risks in the creation of the perfume and cosmetic production in Ukraine. Aleksandr suggested things to begin building a business with, told about the range of specific permission documents which will accompany each market player and the current state of the industry regulatory framework in Ukraine. On the whole, the conference was full of activity; the sessions were designed to cover all the pressing issues of the market as much as possible; the homely atmosphere and professionalism were felt.
